The location of the JU Guesthouse provides the visitors with the opportunity to be in the very centre of events and attractions offered by the Old Town, regardless of the purpose of their coming to Kraków. The artistic Young Poland spirit of ‘Jama Michalika’ café can still be felt in its vicinity. A few steps further there is the house where Jan Matejko, the renowned Polish history painter, lived and worked. Floriańska Street is also home to the atmospheric JU Museum of Pharmacy filled with porcelain apothecary vessels, brass mortars, and yellowed prescriptions, taking visitors on a time journey to an old pharmacy.
The building at Floriańska 49 is not only noteworthy because of its medieval origin: it has been immersed in the history of Polish thought, science, culture and art. The famous bugle call from St Mary’s Church tower fills the air around the building.
Visitors to the JU Floriańska Guesthouse are offered 21 luxury rooms, for single, double and triple occupancy.
All rooms are equipped with:
